LEGAL
Terms and Conditions
Draft for product development. These terms must be reviewed and approved by qualified Cameroon counsel before public launch.
1. Platform role
DroitPlus provides technology for subscription administration, payment tracking, lawyer-network operations and legal-service case management. The applicable legal-services contract is held between the participating lawyer and the client.
2. Subscription cover
Cover is governed by the plan and contract version accepted during enrolment. Benefits may include legal advice, specified document assistance, police-station attendance and defined representation. Waiting periods, exclusions, service limits and eligibility rules apply.
3. Payments and cancellation
Registration fees and recurring premiums are payable through the supported methods. A missed premium becomes arrears. If two consecutive premium periods remain unpaid after applicable grace dates, the subscription may be cancelled. Reactivation requirements are determined by the applicable contract.
4. No guaranteed outcome
No legal outcome, court decision, settlement, bail decision or response time is guaranteed. Emergency requests are assessed case by case.
5. Member responsibilities
Members must provide accurate information, disclose relevant facts, protect account credentials and supply requested documents promptly.
6. Lawyer responsibilities
Participating lawyers remain responsible for professional independence, conflicts, competence, confidentiality and compliance with applicable professional rules.
7. Acceptable use
Users may not misuse the service, upload unlawful content, impersonate another person, interfere with security controls or access records without authorization.
8. Documents and records
Documents are retained and released according to contractual, legal and professional obligations. Historical and audit records may be preserved where deletion is not appropriate.
9. Changes
Material changes to contractual terms will be versioned and communicated. Acceptance may be required before continued use.
10. Contact and complaints
Contact details and formal complaint procedures will be published before launch. Users may also raise concerns through authorised support channels.
